Settings for Soul Shard decay?

My group finished our map, but wants to leave the server up for a few weeks in case anyone wants to experiment redecorating the castle, or just to look around.

I am having to do Mortium twice a day to restore 4 Soul Shards. This makes sense as a default setting, but it is really annoying. Is there no way to change it?

(I tried searching but got an AI-hallucinated response that changing Castle Heart Decay also changes Soul Shards. I don't believe this.)

There are not any server-side settings than can alter shard durability but there are server-side mods that can extend shard durability by a number of different ways.

Thanks. I haven't tried mods yet, but it can't be as tedious as doing Mortium twice a day so it sounds worth looking into!

You're welcome, grinding Mortium 2x every day to re-charge 4 amulets can get pretty boring only installed mods after having beat the game but wanted a little more to do at endgame than grind greater Stygian shards for all time, said mod offers number of different options to pick from under the configuration file including re-introduction of classic shards or the option of repairing the new soul shard amulets via its corresponding pedestal.

If you decide on installing the mod and need assistance with installing the required libraries, feel to ask.

The problem is that for me it's not clear how to use those commands.

You aren't running command function from this mod there is a file you need to edit then reboot the server.

## Enable repair shard in special pedestal.
# Setting type: Boolean
# Default value: true
EnabledRepairInAltar = true

The file in question is: ShardExtraLife.cfg
