Make sure when running any other language to have EN/International selected. I have a dual German/English layout on my keyboard from time to time whilst in-game my keys get stuck and console won't open at all due to the German layout not recognizing the [~].
SLS has their admin console enabled to work only with the international layout.
Also are you the server owner or a co-admin to a server owned by someone else?
Thanks for answer . This is my own server . and i using Thailand/ENG keyboard and I using ` to switch. How do you fix this problem? . Did you delete your German and use only ENG keyboard?. or you set up key to switch keyboard layout from window's setting?
For V Rising I am doing so via Windows, so alt-tab and switch the language settings if you notice the console isn't working.
Sadly, I cannot offer an easier switch method for you. I would suggest using keybinds as you already do, or manually alt-tab and switch back the language settings toggle or use a different physical keyboard for V Rising (I'm using a USB keyboard at the moment).
SLS being a Swedish company oddly prefers the English(international) as the basic format to everything the [~] was created by American game designers as the baseline for developer command-line console integration.
Hence, that can cripple the rest of us with a keyboard layout that is anything but that. Even those of us with duo settings are at a disadvantage due to syntactical limitations. Some layouts don't even have the [~] key.
