server dropped?

I had a character on a server called "Apex Hosting Vampire Server" and it now says "unknown status." Have I lost all my progress?

Happens when you join random people's servers. At least the official ones give you a timer for the server reset instead of just going poof.

You have to be aware of the risks of playing on a privately hosted server. It can be dropped without warning at any time by its owner.

Nothing anywhere explained that they were private servers to begin with. I chose one that had good latency and available land for castle building. They should explain this better.

The servers still exist - I'm wondering if the latest patch caused a reset. They recommended starting new characters anyways.

They are upfront about which servers are official and which are not.

Same here, and im having a hard time even wanting to play again/start from scratch....BUT IF U WANT to find a PVP 1-2 players per team- server ill join ya just msg me the server name maybe we can get back up therre fast

I play co-op with a friend and solo so this does not happen to me.

same issue. the one i was one is giving me a blank and there's another server with the same name
