Skill issue.
OP, you shouldn't have too many problems with Leandra. The adds die in one hit regardless. They can be distracted by summons, they can be dodged, or you can just swing once whenever one approaches you.
Maja adds should also be a non-issue to kill prior to them reaching her for healing, especially at 50 if you kill Leandra first.
Also consider killing Kriig beforehand as he is also super-easy compared to Maja, and a reaper can help greatly with Maja and Leandra both.
I... I genuinely don't know why I didn't think of that. I have cheesed Kriig so many times before. That's great advice.
As to the problems with leandra, it's not really the minions that are getting me. I mean, sometimes their janky pathing ends up having them go past me at weird angles and I whiff. For the most part though, it is actually Leandra herself that chips me with projectiles. either while I'm trying to get in on her or as I'm dealing with a minion. And when the fight drags on so long, the chances that I eat a shadow blast only go up and up.
I actually can get the minion down for Maja, because I don't have as much to worry about simultaneously. The only problem is, again, the fights are lasting so long that I eventually end up taking their main attack and after that they just have to chip me down.
Given how big of a difference the gear level makes, That feels like a serious oversight when doing the balancing for the progression.
1)Dual shield as your spells
2)When they shadow phase arrives, stay in a corner with your back against the wall and use Reaper to do oneshots.
3)Use Slashers Q if you cannot block.

O RLY? You clearly know nothing. This video shows how to deal with the adds.
The Death Knight absolutely turned the tide. I brought DK and corrupted skull and Leandra caved like a roleplaying Minecrafter. Like, night and day, no sweat broken, didn't lose more than 15% of my health kind of easy. I'm actually really mad that I even attempted it before.
Leandra was easy we one shot her.
Bright archer got Kriig down to about half health.. then we fed on her and the explosion did another 10% damage and we were able to kill him off pretty easy once again using bone explosion and turning his ads into our ads basically.
