Simon - Brutal wtf is this...

Seriously, what is this ♥♥♥♥? You find him wandering around randomly where there are loads of patrols around that get involved in the fight. If you don't get hit by him and actually skillfully get him low he uses some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ability that, sure, you can outrange but deals insane damage to you if you get hit for even a second and lasts until he's healed up to just over 50% health.

AFTER this he goes on steroids spamming aoe attacks that flat out ♥♥♥♥ you up and are insanely hard to dodge AND he lights the ENTIRE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AREA on fire that SITS THERE FOR MINUTES on end and deal HEAVY DAMAGE OVER TIME if you so much as put a toe in the fire.

All this absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you're only ever going to fight him in a narrow corridor.

Simon is right up there with Styx the Night Champion, in terms of difficulty. Though, Simon is the meaner of the two, RAW and DMG. Styx is faster, and a little more mobby... Before fighting Simon, practice against Styx and General Valencia the Depraved. If you can beat Valencia, you can beat Simon.
It should also be noted, that Simon gets stronger over time, the longer you wait to fight him, the stronger he'll get after you pass Gear Rank 80. Ideally, you're going to want to defeat him as soon as you're 79 or 80, because once you hit 81, Simon starts getting more powerful.

I don't agree. Killed him very easily, you just need to constantly move. Also, many people underestimate the importance of blood and potions. Use everything correctly and everything will be fine.

There is only one difficult boss in this game - Dracula (on Brutal ofc).
