I already do
After the nerf the fight it still extremely hard on brutal.
Thats literally the worst possible way to balance things. I dont want bosses to be bullet sponges that one shot me, I want them to have mechanics I have to play around, most of which do not have any.
Thats cool and all, I dont care, I want to win against the harder one.
I beat him solo, before the nerf, but artificial difficulty is artificial difficulty. Not to detract from other players who are having fun doing it, or downplaying the work put in by those who are hyping up for the big baddy V daddy, of the game.
But bad design is bad design. Currently, less than 1% of players have beaten Drac, (0.7, as of this time). That means less than 1% of players, actually follow through with endgame. Those numbers aren't significantly high for Solarus the Immaculate, or Adam the firstborn either. If a studio wants people to enjoy their game, so they consume product and are excited for next product, then studio needs people to actually enjoy consuming said product, so they can get the fee fees, for the next product. Right now, this isn't happening.
If we consider the 1% aggregate within the 0.7%, who have defeated him (before or after nerf), then we're looking at a considerably smaller fraction of the player base. Others, seem to just not have the time/patience to follow through with endgame (regardless of opinions on endgame, those experiencing it, are slim to nil).
If the game is chasing people off because they aren't giving their time/effort/energy to the game, and its bosses, then they aren't being sucked into the world of Vardoran and V Rising. Just my opinion, and I can't speak for anyone else, but a thrilling dark, and gothic adventure, needs to also be equally enjoyable if not more-so than how attractive it is. Numbers are talking right now, and they aren't all saying good things. Stunlock isn't Stunninglock, or funlock, for the other 99.3%, it would seem. This may change in the future, but right now, this is what I am seeing.
Thats great, thats why I said I wanted an option to choose how you want to fight him. Dont know what you get from being a contrarian, but go on.
some of the other bosses were hard but managable with the boss killing us when they are almost dead or at least during P2
but here we don't see how we can beat him he his almost full life with wolves running everywhere
If you want to waste your time petitioning for something that will never happen, then you're free to do so.
You're not going to get it. Like, seriously, when has this ever been a thing in a game?
Then why do you care? How does it affect you enough to come here and be a contrarian?
Thata the kind of reasoning that leads to games being ♥♥♥♥.
This game can easily have 80 hours of content on your 1st playthrough, and it's only been 2 weeks since 1.0
That's 2 full time work weeks. Overwhelmingly, the majority of players are casuals who are NOT going to put that amount of hours into a game this early since its release.
I remember Empress of Light (A late game boss) introduced to Terraria in 1.4, and also seeing <1% of players with the achievement first month since the release.
4 years later she's now at 13.7%, yet I don't remember hearing the "OH MUH GAWD, what a poorly designed boss!" much.
