Server settings gone?

What happened? I opened my private server today and all custom settings are gone, I don't even remember all the things I was tweaking, why did this happen? And do these setting get saved anywhere so i can restore them?

You can choose to save them as a ruleset, which you can later load. They get saved to here:

C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\ServerSettingsPresets

that folder is empty, but I want to know why did they reset it even changed my server to pvp from pve

Server settings are an .ini file. That file might have gotten moved or deleted and replaced with a default.

Might have something to do with the patch. Annoying if that's the case. I had a SP file I had gotten quite far on. And I'd rather not start from scratch if the server files has been removed.

I didn't lose any progress just server setting were reset to a pvp default

For anyone confused by this; it's not an .ini file, it's a .json file.
