dont lose your bloodtype

u need to create prisoners!

You don't. Vampires constantly digest and require new blood. Find new victims.

Eventually you can imprison people and drain their blood repeatedly.

Completing a tier 2 rift incursion event will refill ur current blood without changing it. Otherwise, like other says, get urself some cattle in a cage.

Later on in the game you can imprison enemies and bottle up their blood types (and the %) into consumables (Doing so for more then a few times requires maintaining the prisoners with fish).
