teleportation limits

WHY must there be items that can't teleport. I almost always have such an item with me which renders the waygates virtually useless. It's so frustrating.

Disable it if you're the server owner? It's there to make travel important and encourage PvP outside of castle raids and ambushing players while they're fighting bosses.

You have horses, cave shortcuts and the ability to move your base.

I'm on a pve server. I just started my own game and adjusted the settings. Arcaanon's world. gaymer.

make a new castle, put non-tped items in chest, teleport, relocate castle, get your stuff

This but it doesn't make sense, because PvP never happen while you're mounted, like you said people will skirmish near bosses or other popular gathering points, so limiting the portals only transforms the game into a chore.
