Mission LVL29: find a way to unlock Iron melting

How I unlock that for the mission ?
I can't get the iron, I don't have the level

Keep getting stronger. Kill the boss that unlocks it.

Some quest goals are long-term.

You need better gear from the research desk. Either buy it or clear enemy encampments until you find it. There's weapons, armors and a few different magic rings. Combined they can get you to level 41.

While killing lower bosses you should get a book for a merciless copper weapon or buy one from the markets. Use that to mine iron. You can smelt Iron as soon as you killed Quincey the Bandit King (lvl37) at the Bandit Stronghold. The gate to the hold can be closed you need bearform , explosives or high-lvl player to open it for you.

As Venthus stated: Act I last boss rewards you with iron processing. You can't really skip ahead in the game's stiff progression, which is a shame.
