No weapons from rift 2 events?

I just made it to level 80+ and started doing rift level 2 events without too much trouble (playing solo, my own server). I have done 10 rift 2 events and not one single purple level 30 weapon has dropped. I got two level 4 jewels, useless for my build, of course. In level 1 events, ancestral (level 20) weapons drop almost every event. Just bad luck, or is the drop rate this low? Farming for a legendary weapon of my choice is going to be impossible.

I have enough greater shards to buy one weapon that I like though, so that's not a problem. I just wonder how low the legendary drop rate is, if purples are that rare?

Well.. I bought One legendary axe from vendor and then proceeded to spend 15k shards and getting just purple maces... Its all random luck. =)

Happy about the axe though. =)

Obtaining a legendary weapon of your choice from vendors is more likely than getting it to drop from a V Boss or T2 Rifts.

I'd say about 10% chance from vendors.

Drops rates are pretty rare, even on brutal difficulty settings, you'll a much better chance getting oranges from the vendor, I've gotten far more from them when trying to get blood infusion weapons.

had them about 50% of the time for me. probably a pretty even split of book, t4 jewel, weapon in the drop table. think you just got unlucky.
