The workaround really isn't that difficult to pull off, even if you send them to the wrong castle first.
Me and my husband play together, would have been awesome to be able to choose that my prisoners go to MY castle not his and other way around.
Or as we did suggest a new feature that for example could be connected to the throne so that you choose what castle prisoners automatically go to. Don't necessarilly have to change how it works for those that don't want or need it but a chance to do something for those of us that want to do things slightly differently.
Sure as far as the game sees it, but my castle is mine for me and I want my prisoners in my castle and husband wants his in his castle. Usually a clan is not the same as becomming one and the same player for most things.
You control where the empty cages are in your clan castles. You contol when a prisoner is in a cage and when they're subdued.
If you don't want a prisoner to go to a certain empty cage when you use dusk caller, destroy that cage first.
That means that when me or husband catches a person the other one has to run to the others castle and make a cell or tear down all cells in their castle or we have to move people around after almost every time. So nope that solution still doesn't do it for me at least. I wish for a simple solution that is not leave the clan or build cells after you catch the prisoner. It's possible to do what we want but I would not say it is the intended way for the item to run around and do stuff in X castles depending onb how big the clan is.
You have to have an empty cell to use duskcaller. Obviously.
No.
Just the empty ones.
It takes like literally 3 seconds.
You not being happy with a completely satisfactory solution doesn't make the solution bad. The problem is solved.
The answer to you having an issue with a non-problem is to ignore your complaint.
1) It is a simple solution.
2) Nobody has to change clans.
3) Nobody has to build cells. The cells are already built. People build cells before they go out with duskcallers because duskcallers only work if you already have empty cells.
The game didn't even launch with dusk callers. I remember when prisoner catching equipment was Worker Blood, Wranglers, and an 11.0 Horse.
You are complaining about a literal solution to a problem that predates your experience with the game. It is working as intended.
