server wipe

hi to all

since the dev plan to wipe all saves, is it worth starting the game now?
we started the game with a friend but noticed afterwards that a server wipe is planned.
i would not have bought the game knowing such a thing would happen in a near future.
a warning should be present in the shop at the moment of purchase ...but anyway..everyone is gonna lose their saves ? really? some have hundred of hours...

The game is in early access, and an expected occurrence during game development is previous save files becoming incompatible with new content.

With the 1.0 release looming in the next couple months, I would wait for that before jumping in.

Just play it. When the new update comes out play it some more, but with new shiny stuff.

I remember the last time the server got wiped. I JUST defeated adam and only a few days later the server got wiped. And many people that were still playing didnt get to finish their playthrough, i was ahead of many of them.

I hope next time that the servers stay online for a little longer than last year.

Keep in mind it's still quite a while ago, so you might as well experience the current version and have fun unless you plan to play it for months every day^^ Then if you like the game still you'll enjoy the new update even more ^^

also the game is very fast paced, once you know where to go and how to farm, it will take you like one day or two to reach end-game maxed.

You can complete all current content in roughly 40-60 hours.. so.. I mean you basically have 2 months or so to put that much time into it.. the game is changing A LOT in 1.0.. might end up being a lot different than it currently is.
