The next update is scheduled for 2024. It will probably revive the game and bring back players for some time but in a long term, they need to give us something to do. New players have a lot to explore but veterans can beat Adam in a day or two. We need daily and weekly challenges, battlepass, maybe even some kind of taming and breeding either animals for the base defenses/boss fight support or humans for better souls. We just need something casual to do after we beat the game. Also, they should give us some uber rare drops from the bosses. Like 1% chance of drop from the Adam or the upcoming D***ula. Either Horse skin or some character skin or pretty much anything.
If this game gets a battlepass I will deinstall it. Already having to pay for the Destiny 2 and Fortnite seasonpasses is a pain, another subscription would be too much.
The future of V Rising. Big questions.
In Dev Update 21 (https://blog.stunlock.com/dev-update-21-the-next-chapter), we got a little bit into this, and I assume that’s what you’re referencing with the ‘patchnote’ thing. Sorry if there’s any confusion on that, I understand English isn’t your first language, and for the most part, I think you got your points across very well!
We do intend to continue development on V Rising past the 1.0 release, which will include the completion of the game as a single package. That means you’ll have a start and end to your journey, and we intend that you have a satisfying experience that provides the needed closure. Reyson Fox kind of has the idea. (No Steam Deck news just yet, sorry, Reyson.) Beyond that, we’ll have at least one more major update after release as we wrote partway through Dev Update 18 (https://blog.stunlock.com/dev-update-18-secrets-of-gloomrot).
As for the deep-cut specifics of what we mean by that, it’s a little too early to share right now, but I hope you keep in touch with upcoming Dev Updates where we’ll be sharing more information leading up to release.
Oh, and uh, no plans for a battlepass.
Keep Bitin’, my Vamps.

Thank you for the response! I am really glad to hear there is no plans for a battlepass. The game is great with the format it has now, and has a lot of ways to expand the content. I am excited to see what comes out.
Hi there! Thank you kindly for your support; it means a lot to us! We're happy that you're enjoying V Rising and looking forward to the full launch.
Have a lovely weekend!
