Too many bosses VS progression
I played the game when it first launched, and tried it again now. It just seems like they've jammed so many bosses in there that all you do is spend time dying over and over until you figure out the boss fight and then do it all over again. It used to be major milestones are boss restricted, but you would spend most of your time farming the areas and regular mobs.

It wouldn't be so bad if there were more softball bosses mixed in, but every single one seems to need perfect play or you get 1 shot. There definitely needs to be some more "take the night off and farm" type of play which is still rewarding and gets you somewhere. Right now all of my progression is constantly boss locked, and I farm all of their materials as I kill them making me move onto the next one.

I have the same problem, I am blocked in my progress by Bosses who unlock this or that workshop/item/spell.
It almost becomes boring...

Are the people who wonder around not considered soft bosses?

If youre really struggling then use an easier build. Blood dash + a defensive spell.
Even for a new player, 2 attempts at an unfamiliar boss should be enough to beat it and move on.

To die to the bosses is even absurd because if you got low hp by messing up so many times then simply walk out and heal, then try again.

Here i even play like a monkey and still beat the boss so easily. You dont need to be perfect in the slightest. Not to mention it's far easier than before gloomrot because bosses now drop heal orbs.

There is a learning curve. Once youve learned a good bunch it just becomes too easy.
What me and other experienced players have noticed when other players find it to be too hard, is that it's simply because they make it hard for themselves. They dont properly use their options, their tools. Using questionable spells, not using more than one weapon, barely bothering to understand game mechanics, using abilities at bad timings, not understanding how valuable walking sideways is.

Wow.

I think we need to speak to the engineer for Hi im Royeen AI. This AI could use a few tweaks.

The Bosses of V Rising are too easy. When are the Devs going to crank up the difficulty of the V Rising bosses. People are sleeping through the game. Maja??? Ho Hum. What a Bore. Why are the Devs wasting everyone's time with these easy Boss fights??? You can beat Maja with no gear and frail blood. Come on, Devs. Nobody wants to play a game that a "monkey" can beat without even trying.

I never complained about the difficulty, I play on the hardest settings for a reason. I take issue with how much time is spent in game on which activities, with too much being spent on boss fights. I just used the default settings, but perhaps I should have required 2-3x the crafting materials for everything. I also give this feedback not to complain, but as feedback for an early access game.

When I first played the game, I would farm the towns a lot looking for specific resources. I would work on my servant coffins and gear them out to raid constantly for specific resources as well. Now, I don't need resources. I need the next boss unlock.

There already is.

0)Prepare for the next blood moon. If you can't handle a boss then the blood moon gives you that extra edge and it happens only once every ~3 hours, so you best have containers with blood and buff potions prepared, as well as containers to just dump the loot without sorting it first to have enough time to make several boss attempts should your first one fail.

1)Farm for 100% blood. This can take a very long time depending on RNG.

2)Farm for better Jewels. It's very hard to RNG your way into good jewels just from natural drops, tier 2 jewels are inexpensive (Iron and normal Gems) and can make a big difference with good rolls.

3)Farm for better blue/orange weapons. This is practically a bottomless pit of time. It takes exactly 169 Onyx Tears to buy an orange weapon with exactly the 3 attributes out of 11 that you want. and those rolls are obviously not even guaranteed to be on the high end.
