Build Walls Without Roof
This is probably a silly question, as I know a majority of people asking about roofs are trying to figure out how to make them appear, not go away. I want to know if it's possible to build areas of my castle with the garden floors and castle walls but without a roof appearing. I know the palisades can be used to wall off areas without a roof, but I think they look super ugly compared to the rest of my castle. I also assume that plants won't grow with a roof overhead anyways (haven't actually tested this).

Has anyone found a workaround? Is there a good way to wall off areas and keep that open garden feel?

You'll need to place stairs heading up to where the roof is and then place the invisible floor, looks like dotted outline of a square.

Oh wow that does work! I guess the only downside is I have to hide the staircase somewhere, but that's not actually a huge deal. Thanks!

If they're outside the garden you can delete the stairs after and the "roof" will still be gone

One more tip, if your castle is on a multi level bit of ground the floors can be placed from the upper part across the cliffy bits and into the first floor of the lower ground.
