Minor tips include having pistols to switch to during the blast-wave phase so you have another mobility skill at hand when you get pushed towards the edge, and learning the phasing animation so you can dodge the weird anti-grav attack he does.
This boss is all about the DPS race.
This method looks solid
Outside of that I used Ball Lightning / Chaos Orbs / Scythe E attack a lot and that did the trick.
The key is to do your best to not get the static debuff on you, because each stack just makes his dmg worse and worse to deal with and that AOE push attack he does will wipe you if you have too many stacks.
Blood type is your call, but again something that will boost you surv ability would be key for this fight, so War for dmg reduction or Sorc for spell boost
Load out: scythe +veil of blood+ chaos volley&sanguine coil and heart strike ultimate(this one opened up the fight and closed it as well: sent me from near death against the electrified edges of the room straight trough the doc and gave enough sustain to wait safely for him to keel over from the explosion and die)
The rewards tho are nothing but a sick joke: no blood moon armor crafting(need to go have a chat with Matka) no weapon upgrade(Azariel the sunny will be expecting a visitor soon) and no pendant update either(Voltatia is due for a power plant safety audit) about the only thing that can be gained after heavy duty grind and counts as a 'free' power up are probably the two advanced versions of brew of ferocity&enchanted brew
1. Any weapon + Chaos Volley (or any damage spell)
2. The most important part for an easy time, is that you should go with the Ice Block spell (C) + Tempest Ultimate.
Pop these two, in no particular order, one after the other when he does his ultimate.
You'll be immune for the whole duration.
3. Pop Ice Block every time you accidentally hit him while he counters (you know, he turns immaterial waiting for an attack).
You either hold your fire, or if you hit him, just pop your Ice Block. (you can ice block any time you feel you're gonna take damage)
Note : If he becomes "invisible" during the fight, it's because you've hit his counter, so react with an instant Ice Block. You won't take the CC / Lock in the air.
4. Dash his Blue Balls.
(just stand in front of him when he uses his Lasers, they are in a "cross shape", your completely safe in front of him. Try to burst him here, give all : Q + E + R)
It's really an easy fight, in fact you should even "farm" him for legendary weapons.
