Vampire Horse Questions / Upgrades?

Hello, curious about how the vampire horse works as far as use and release. I found a better one I'd like to use and convert, but can't seem to get rid of the current one.

Getting it killed just turns it invisible, and when using Dominate Mount again, it just summons the mount back to life.

I desire to set this beast free, of it's immortal coil, or otherwise.

When in Dominate Mount mode, hold T to permanently delete your current mount.

Just don't forget to remove the saddle because I totally removed mine both times before deleting the old horse.

The T button is the bane of my existence. This key doesn't exist in any other common game for usefulness and is often glossed over. I now see the dead skeleton horse icon, and it all makes sense.
