At minimum, in your situation, it would be 30 * 1.78 = 53.4% health lost.
so plus 78% would be
30% + ~24%
54% -- maybe this appeared you you as less than it actually was? lightly more than half their hp is a bit hard to gague especially if they weren't 100% hp.
What is the multiplier? If misery was at 78% what is the equation on how that affects the initial 30%-60%. How did you get the 1.78?
Ohh I think I understand so then at the high end.. it would/could have been 60*1.78 = 106.8
So it's: (potential drain damage) * (1 + (misery)) = Damage Taken
With prison flooring = Damage Taken * .75
