blood merlot vs blood potion
just what is the difference? and would it matter if i used a low quality blood merlot when making the level 18 pendant?

It doesn't matter if you use low quality blood for the pendant; the only requirement is that there is a blood merlot to use.

The difference is in the material cost (merlot has a higher material cost) and the payout is in the damage/misery to the prisoner (merlot has a tighter and lower window for both damage and misery inflicted).
