Naturally those 96% ones turned into mutants after one or two doses.
Scholar is just a rarer blood type overall. Rogue/warrior/worker/brute are all available at the start and across most common enemies. Scholar only shows up on a few priest-types that usually aren't in big groups, often only one accompanied by a group of Warriors/Rogues/Brutes. The only big group of scholar types is the group of nuns, but those are low level and almost always <10% blood.
Gloomrot has a few more scholar types; however, as much as I like the addition of it, it's not an area I like to spend a lot of time in.
