To test out if time passes as the server is not online (as we do have a private local hosted server too) i planted a whole garden outside our Castle.
Several hours later when i turned the server back on it was fully bloomed...
Another test i made was to disconnect in the MIDDLE of a road with patrols going on.. when i turned the server on i was dead...
So.... i guess.. that's it? The time still go on even if the server is not on?
Feel free to use the longer hunt options.
Yes, servant timers continue while offline on private servers. The injured timer will also continue while offline, but it only begins once the mission is completed, which only happens if the server is live.
Other timers like castle heart blood essence drain, plant growth, item crafting, and resource refinement do not continue while offline.
I'm fairly certain they specifically wrote about this on one of the patch notes, either on Gloomrot itself, or the small fixes after it.
Why then my garden bloomed completely after i turned back online the server several hours later?
