I need some advice how to kill Ziva

Sadge moment, but the melee build is no longer working in gloomrot, because everything just straight up punishes you if you go in close combat.
What is the strat to kill Ziva?

So after 9 tries with everything I have in different combinations, spells and jewels in them - I am done. What a dumb boss. Turrets, GIANT electro-balls, Flamethrower, sniping shots, ricochets... Just 1 question. WHY she has EVERYTHING AT HER DISPOSAL, EVEN BODY BLOCKING DUMMIES.
I've died with 1\3 left of her, it was a fun ride, but i am out. I do not want to see this abomination of a boss, which consists of 3 bosses in 1.

I end up with a skeleton knight which is summoning skeleton mage upon hitting any target. It is a way to go indeed, but the question is: Do I need a defensive spell or another offensive spell?

I actually use greatsword for most of my gloomrot fighting ;o

If you want what I used exactly: Pistols (non shattered, didnt have em at the time), Cursed Skulls, blood rage (or spirit wolf, if that's more your thing). Veil of Chaos, you need this imo for the dual dash. Focus on evasion, you can compliment pistols with slashers for their E, but try to use mainly the pistol E for their damage. Slasher E whenever you need to gtfo of Ziva's eyesight for a breather. Focus on summoning skeletons as much as possible with Cursed Skull, using blood rage to heal or spirit wolf to damage + mobs. Focus mobs when they spawn unless you're in a good position to ignore them. Go on evasive mode when she starts bombarding or when there's an orb on the field. I used scholar blood, iirc. That, or rogue 100. I can't remember rn. Good luck!

Also, remember that you can heal. Ziva gives you a decent amount of time + places to hide behind as long as she's not using one of her chase moves (bombardment, orb). Pop slasher E, go behind a pylon, chug. Also, when she switches to her gun, just don't do anything. Hide.

She is very easy: gives a lot of time for healing and her weapons keep breaking up allowing you to pile free uncontested dmg on her ; further more you got ample range cover to shield you from her attacks.
As for melee builds they are not dead at all in fact their stronger then ever and it was the only option for me to clear a few late game bosses that despite my best efforts were impossible for me to take down at range(and ffs i took down 90%+ of the bosses at range with spells).
There are a few spells(especially from the storm magic) that allow you to make mince meat out bosses, most cancerous being polarity shift&veil of storm these with the proper jewels on them go like a knife trough butter.

I use almost the same spells for everything.. aftershock, bone explosion, spectral guardian and the reaper. She is a game of patience.. just stay away and pop shots at her when she goes down. She is arguably one of the easiest bosses in the game.. but yea probably not an up in your face melee boss. I just kite her around the pillars they block most of her stuff. Bring a fire resist pot in case you get scorched.

Slashers/Greatsword with a Hint of Reaper.

When she uses the Flamethrower I just run circles around her, same with the shock setup with the help of the slashers I-frames from the Q ability and Greatsword E.

When the Gattling gun comes out I run behind the Furnace Pillars and launch Reaper E and Q to shoe her away. When she does her Ratatatatata Move I either dash or Go Camo and close in on her and again run circles around her and slash her with slashers while she tries and turns to me to shoot me with that move.

Full Blood Spells. Blood Rage with Aliment Removal jewel and Blood Fountain with Aliment removal as well as recast Gemmed in. This will help remove the Nasty Fire DoT. Blood Dash with Nova on Hit to apply Leech. All this coupled with Fire Resist Potion, Brute Blood, and Brew of Ferocity.

You can breeze all bosses except Maja and her healing ads with xbow
Most open world bosses can be defeated by turning around a structure

Ratatatatatata is also really nice for Ward of the Damned. All the skellingtons!

Good luck, fam. She's a tough boss but she's thankfully not unbeatable. I first tried her without having to break away for any resets.

Ungora? Different story. 6+ resets because fek that boss. Good luck on that one.

Anti fire potion, unholy shield to block machinegun bursts, any ultimate that does't make you stand still while casting. Also chaos jump recommended.
