Got Mouse 3 working!

I noticed I wasn't the only one having an issue with using Mouse 3 as a keybind for things like spells or weapon skills and I found out how to resolve the issue.

Turns out that even though it doesn't initially appear so, Mouse 3 IS bound to something by default. Something halfway down in the keybind menu called "Interrupt Ability Cast".

This command is bound to Z, but also to Mouse 3 as a secondary input.

Click on the secondary input and hit Backspace to clear it.

Now Mouse 3 will work for... well, whatever you want!

... also keep in mind that by mouse 3 I mean the back mouse button. Normally we gamers recognize Mouse 3 as pressing the scroll wheel but the game considers that something separate entirely and lists the thumb buttons as 3 and 4 instead of 4 and 5.

Anyway, thought that might help a lot of you.

Or just open your mouse software, bind something on those buttons you need with KEYS you are not using or are far away in the keyboard and use them back INGAME to solve every issue.


Never use mouse buttons "as is". Bind something on them first to avoid this kind of detection issue as MANY games does have that issue during patches, expansions or due to compatibility issues from the start.
