and hey, no shame. I used to think Tristan was a hard boss, and I once died to him at level 70. I still have no real way of melee-to-melee him and had to rely on cheap shots most of the time.
Way too many people are either too lazy or have been banned on Youtube.
We need a video equivalent of "Let me google that for you" website.
I actually went to Youtube after the 5 death... This guy has the reactions of a god, and insane situational awareness.. Us old git's who still love games have no flipping hope...
He obviously has good reaction times, but what he's not showing you is the dozens or hundreds of times he failed and had to start over. It's like those trick shot videos where they pull off some amazing basketball shot that seems impossible. What they don't show you is the hours of trying over and over before they finally got lucky. So yeah, there's hope!
It's a little more than luck in this case though (I understand you're referring to the Dude Perfect style stunts here, but for clarity's sake I'll reiterate). V Rising bosses are predictable and knowing what weapons and skills work well for avoiding attacks and doing consistent damage is the key. You're right that Crimson Silhouette does multiple runs before getting that final recording, but he's learning the bosses move sets and telegraphs and what abilities and weapons are the most effective against them. I wouldn't be surprised if he can consistently defeat bosses 10 levels lower and frailed once he figures out a the attack patterns and what build works best against them.
Also, don't bother until you have full bloodmoon for the speed bonus, or get a speed bonus to out run his beams
1)In this particular case, even if she goes invisible, once the gun starts glowing you either dash or press E on Slashers, that's 80% of the fight.
2)Once you see the "Shotgun" gun pattern glowing you press "C" to counter.
3)The video does no hit, low GS, 0 blood. You can do 100% blood, 80 GS and get hit.
The difference is like asking someone to run 100m under 10 seconds (which is reasonable for people competing for Olympic gold) and running 100s under 15 seconds, which is reasonable for anyone who's not disabled or sick.
Right you are. While there is a bit of luck involved in not taking a single hit, perhaps a better analogy would be something like playing an instrument. Watching someone play a violin for example seems amazing, but with practice, almost anyone can do it to a reasonable level of proficiency. He has clearly fought the boss many times, knows every single telegraph and has a build set up specifically to counter certain attacks. My point was simply that, with enough practice, most people could do it.
That being said, Voltatia is also easily cheese-able. All you have to do is hit the boss with everything you have, and run back out to the stairs after they've called in reinforcements. Wait a bit for the boss to start moving back towards the center of the platform (there is a small window in here before the boss resets), and then use all your abilities again. The mobs will disappear, and the encounter will restart from the beginning leaving a massive opening for damage once again. Rinse and repeat until dead.
