Thoughts on the new bosses?
I personally think they could use some tweaking. Some of them are extremely easy, while others are at the opposite end and take multiple tries to beat.
Ziva the Engineer and Domina the Blade Dancer I beat on the first try without any buffs or 100% blood quality, but Angram the Purifier took me several attempts with multiple potion buffs and 100% rogue blood. It probably has to do with their spell kits and movesets being different but I feel like bosses around the same level should be around the same difficulty. That shield was particularly difficult to deal with since he can still use other abilities while he has it active.

Haven't made it to the final boss yet but from what I've heard he's very difficult.

I agree on Ziva as I wasn't even trying to fight her but rather stumbled on her and took her out no problem.

Domina did give me a fit but it was more to do with the adds I didn't clear out before fighting her.

Angram I can't really speak on as when I went to fight him he was fighting a big mutant so by the time I started fighting him, he was already down to less than half health.

Seems alright to me. I don't mind a little inconsistency in boss difficulty. Just as long as it's fun, and feels fair.

Angram gave me some trouble, but I didn't fight him more than necessary. I think the main problem is that my usual playstyle is very poke-heavy from range, with skeletons keeping threat, so when the boss puts up a massive shield to keep punishing my cowardice, I had to chance my approach. I'd like to go back and try him a few more times to see what methods might work best against him.

Adam, the final boss, put forth quite a challenge. Had a couple cheap moments happen, but it was more RNG than anything, and could have been avoided if I had taken the right actions.

In general, nothing felt like it was truly unfair. If you've got the reaction speeds and willingness to learn and adapt, everything can be beaten.
Personally I feel that there can be harder and easier bosses. Keep it fun you know. The thing I do have a problem with is bosses who are just made to be annoying or unreasonably hard. The old man is just a pain in the ass and if you don’t preclear where he walks it’s just a RNG boss fight.

The second boss is Adam. This boss is so crazy overturned and in my opinion does not belong in the game like he is right now. The other shard holders where not easy but if he can be the level of the behemoth or old solaris it would be fine. But he ignores anything you throw at him. He moves 2x faster than other bosses. Almost doesn’t leave you any breathing time and you are force into a close encounter and if you are not comfortable with that kind of playstyle you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Many have already given up on that boss and I have to accept I probably will never beat this boss as I’m too slow for what he does.
Only reason we beat Adam was we were in a group of 5.. and if you dropped below 50% you left disengaged battle healed and came back in.. took us 5 tries to get the right rotation 2 always in and 3 max healing. I have no idea how a solo person beats him.
I liked all but two of them.

The forest hermit dude (can't be bothered to remember his name) was annoying. I hated him for the same reason I hate the little chubby grandma in Dunley Farms. Running away is just annoying.

And by far the one I abhor the most... Adam. I've seen less CC in in PvP esports. It always felt like a miracle when I was able to get any sort of cast off. I know there's plenty of "git gud" gregs around that will defend his horrible mechanics, but that doesn't change the fact he's a crap boss.
The only real issue I have with Adam is that he requires an item to open his arena. I know it's not a huge deal, but it annoys me that if I want to take a break between attempts the door is going to respawn and I'll have to use/make more EMPs to clear it.

He is incredibly difficult but I'm fine with the end game superbosses being a challenge.
The Baron felt incredibly easy to me given the level you encounter him at. My first fight against him I was several levels lower and still beat him with barely any damage taken.

Bane the Shadowblade is like 20 levels lower and gave me way more trouble than that, lol.

I believe at that time you should have bat form I think you can just fly over the electric gate.

Unfortunately, there's a door at the edge of the territory, and another at the building itself. You can bat form over the outer door, but you need an EMP for the inner door.
What I noticed playing with a group of a dozen people or so is that bosses are really dependent on your playstyle, I'm a more careful player and I don't tempt fate very much, and I struggled on a different set of bosses than some of my other friends who are more aggressive and play with different weapons. I think that shows that there's thought put into the game to cater to many playstyles, and I can get behind that. :D
I liked them. They werent the hardest but they were fun, mechanically speaking. Some of the later bosses are too convoluted and crowded with mechanics. These for the most part were straight to the point. I think the most flawed are either the doctor with the tesla coils or the new boss-shard final boss. Having to borderline exploit mechanics to avoid being pushed back into lighting is dumb and the final boss's laser spam is obnoxious without another player.

You'll also need one to bomb the outer gate so you can walk the shard out, even if you bat formed in.
I'm a stickler for pistols and blood magic, all of them were easy af. I did meet the dancer a second time and she wiped the floor with me, but I realized she bugged out the first time, never powered up and did her sliding-across-the-battlefield thing while spewing tons of electrical orbs out, idk what happened but it was new to me on the second try, destroyed me, wasn't prepared and on low % blood.

Engineer was a nightmare for me, did it with a friend the first time, those homing lightning orbs were really hard to deal with, then we died and I soloed her so my friend could suck her gubbins after the fight. Easier solo, but it still took tons of kiting, wished I had a crossbow instead of pistols.

The chick in the tower was simple enough, but same issue as with the Engineer, had a friend, made the summons tankier and harder-hitting, so we died and I went in again to solo her, way easier as 1 person. Upscaling of summon health really messes with us, granted my friend isn't really good at games, but it was still fun for her to watch me solo on a Discord screenshare.

Some are easy, some are not, some just bug tf out and don't enter their second phase. Could definitely use some tweaking.

Most are fun; Tho I haven't been in proper match with Angram (was cheesing him by using a huge rock in his arena and AoE spam). Probably gonna start the proper one after I get into it in my current playthrough.
For me Maja(2 near wipes) Domina(2 wipes: caught by blade tornado first time then later by electro storm) Henry Blackbrew(4 wipes) were the worst offenders while Ziva&Angram were utter push overs.
But for each of the above mentioned difficult bosses I had to do a full 180* on my usual play style and had to switch up my spell selection and go berserk mode with storm spell augmentation for a few seconds then move out then go back in, it was like the worst nightmare for those bosses like they didn't even know what hit them sure enough getting caught in one of theyr uber moves was very punishing but nowhere near what i was dishing onto them.
Anyways lesson learned for some bosses you just got to get them fast&hard from behind like a little perv otherwise you are going to get f'ed in a straight up ranged duel

Tho as far as i'm concerned i'm not exactly a conventional player: never used a shield ability against any boss nor have i so far used either warrior or scholar blood for this run(Cyril the cursed smith for instance went down to a 98% creature blood while Maja&Black brew went down to 80%+ brute blood ) as i usually used rogue blood(easier to find at higher quality more often)...not only that but despite preferring to stay at range if possible i never enjoyed using either pistols or xbow and instead went with sniping spells like volley/bats/coils/wolf and a melee weapon with a ranged ability reaper&swords being my favorite while spear&great sword were used on occasion when theyr merciless version got unlocked before the other 2 did...i know axe&slashers are great and most would prefer using them but for me theyr a bit too counter intuitive for quick use vs bosses and more often then not would land me in a tricky spot with theyr 'dash' ability (too short of a travel distance so that if it gets mistimed you will get hammered hard/still be within some spell's AoE range)

Anyways i'm almost done Styx&the shard bearers are all that is left for me to fight(the old pre gloomrot 'folks' i'm certain i can take down once more(especially with the amount of heavy duty spell enhancements provided by the jewel system) while Adam is an unknown quantity for me but based on what i saw from others on yt id reckon hes going to prove either very hard for me or down right impossible(not so much because of hes move set but more to do with the limited mobility circumstances the fight needs to take place in(same reason why H Blackbrew was so f'in hard for me to handle(too little space to freely move in ultimately forcing me almost into a full point blank berserk mode for like 70% of the fight))

PS: old wanderer was anoyin' AF aggroed 3/4 of the entire forest on my arse.
