1year have passed = No Pause

Still waiting for this feature or some way to do it. Not everyone got always free time in front of the PC, kids and wife need me and soo i would die in a boss fight :(

A Pause Button's just as needed as a proper Offline mode, not disguised under LAN to confuse new players. +1

it's an always online server based game. You can't have a pause button in it's current form, but maybe their are ways. The same way ppl get steam games not on steam.

It has a true offline mode, is the problem. It's had a true offline mode since a few days off a whole year ago. The fact it wasn't packaged with a pause is one thing, the fact we still don't have a pause is annoying at best.

How do you mean it has true offline mode? It's just a server on the local computer instead of on someone elses computer, and you end up connecting to it the same as if you connected to any other. There's no technical difference between a self-hosted game where you start the the server and join it with the one key press and one where you start the server standalone and join it afterwards. The biggest difference between these would be that the standalone server one would allow the server time to run without the game client running.

If there's something different you're talking about that I'm missing it'd be nice to get to know it.

It will probably come - but only at the end and only in single player offline
It is on the lowest totem of priorities.

Satisfactory and Valheim are just two games that have the same system and really have a Pause if you are in solo.

It also works in combat, as seen in some video of Cohhcarnage with the new playthrough. He accidentally quit his game to main menu while in a fight with wolves and then when he logged in he was still in that exact fight with those wolves.

Shutting the game down every time I need to step away isn't a good solution. Have to wait on the whole smegging "starting up server" crap when I start the game.
They need to figure out(if it's even possible) how to give us a true offline single-player option.

just log out to the title screen. problem solved. thats what i do when i go to the bathroom or go grab another coffee

The Pause i try do and im already bored is going back to the menu, but even installed on SSD it takes around 2-3minutes to open the game again :(

Offline means offline.

If you click LAN Game, you're now offline. This is how you open your local machine-saved servers in offline mode or without internet.

Like I said in my first comment, a true offline mode - where it isn't disguised under the LAN Game option which confuses everyone coming into V Rising - is just as needed as a Pause button.

There really people who just want to be a contrarian. This should be as basic as having volume options in a game. Solo play, there should be a pause button. Period.
