Wisps healing and veil of illusion

So, I got a jewel for spectral wolves that summons a wisp when it hits an ennemy with the weakened debuff, and the description says it heals self of ally. And I don't really get what that means, cause the thing is just flying around, not healing me, and occasionally heals itself.

I guess it's more effective in multiplayer, as it can heal your friends but I play solo, and right now, all I see is nothing. Most of the time the healing does not even seem to trigger as no green number shows up on my screen. So can anyone who figured out how it really works explain it please ?

Also, veil of illusion still seems to not have an elude buff, mobs just keep targeting me after using the dash, even if I swap with my illusion. The description clearly says it eludes, but it's not the case most of the time. I like illusion but some of these effects are... well, an illusion it seems ! (sorry about that)

You run into the wisp to consume it and get the healing, rather than it being a matter of the wisps AoE healing.

Ah, I see, thank you. Well, it's definitly designed to help your friends then, no way I can run into it as it always stays away from me.
