Is there a way to pause a solo sever?

find it really annoying to have to leave the game, even though i am playing solo and going to be gone for only 1-15 min. but with sun damage en roaming enemies and bosses just going AFK can just be a bad idea.
So is there an option to pause the game i am not aware of, or is there really just no way?

No. Your best options are either to return to your castle and chill there, or maybe find an unoccupied house and sit in rat form if you expect to only be gone for a moment. Otherwise, just leaving the game will have to do. You only lose the ~30 seconds it takes to load it back up.
