Grass Exterior Garden Flooring question
When I read the description it sounds like it would be outdoors and not create an automatic roof above it, but it does and it's really messing with my design. Is this working as intended or is it not supposed to create a roof?

its more of a decorational thing so you can build a nice garden. you could try to change one wall into a Garden Fence Gate/Wall that would stop it from getting a roof.

I like using the pillars and iron fencing for my outdoor garden as it still provides some shade during the day.

Another option besides what is mentioned above is to just remove one of those floors so it doesn't create a roof. To cover up the color difference in the "fake" grass and real grass you could put something like the water fountain over the spot you don't have a floor tile.

Thank you, I just had to check. The area I have my garden in is a rectangle that's inside the building with upper balcony. So for now I've removed the one grass tile on the side, but it's ugly to look at lol. I'll try to come up with a better design. It would be nice if that grass floor didn't generate a roof though.

Isn't there a new "no floor" tile you can build on the second floor, specifically for removing the roof in situations like yours? It looks like a red checkerlined square. Haven't used it much yet, personally, but you can try that to take off the roof.
