Ensure that players always get the room they need to progress and build a castle that can store all their stations and loot.
Block players from intentionally griefing other players by surrounding them with floors/walls.
Avoid scenarios where multiple players unintentionally build in the same area effectively blocking each other from progressing later in the game when everyone needs more space.
Improve PvP scenarios where players could build multiple lines of defenses in a single area and could build an army of servants making it almost impossible to raid.
Better communicate the land availability of a server to players before they join. It will be easier to avoid servers that have too little space to build.
Improve the Map UI to better display what areas are claimed and what areas are free as well as what players/clans are occupying a given space.
Territories also pave the way for a number of possible expansions/improvements for the future. This addition is a stepping stone towards something more."

I was stumped aswell after the Patch hit and i played for a few Hours, until i hit the Farmlands.
It's completely right, the new System allows grander Castles then before.
The Tile Limit was 250 (right or? ) and we needed to combine multple Castles into "one" big one.
Thats not needed anymore, but whats needed is the right Castle Spot.
I don't think the Woods, have a Spot for a Big Castle, "just" Tower spots. 100 Groundfloor Tiles, maybe 150?
In the Farmlands i found a Spot which had 250 Groundfloor Tiles, which made me really happy.
But in Silverlight Hills ive found the Gold.
A Spot with nearly 300 Groundfloor Tiles.
If you want to build Grand, you need to use the new Floor Mechanic. With this you can literally Combine a higher Elevation with a lower one.
It is now possible to build Floors over Cliffs. this means you can make a huge Flat Ground Floor and start Building (without a Garden is this Case)
On the Silverlight Spot, i have a Huge Garden and 3 Seperate Buildings (some 3 Floors high) which Combine in a Huge Castle and used 500/600 Tiles for this
You can have a Huge Throne Room, a Library/Alchemy Tower and all other things.
As i said i was really pessimistic about the Territorys aswell in the Beginning, but its all about the Spot and understanding how Floors work^^
We, myself included the Solo Builders are complaining.
We're alone in our World, with our Settings, we can use the 5 Castle Limit to our Adventage?
One Spot solely for a Library Tower, it doesnt need to be a big Spot. A Gateway, a Small Garden and Stairs which reach the Heaven (6 Floors) and we have a Space to press our Papers and do our Research.
One Big Factory Castle, with all Crafting Stations, a big Storage Room and again a Gateway (which can not be placed indoors)
A Prison Tower
One Huge Garden with an Alchemy Lab for all our Potion needs.
And Finally our Big Homey Castle, with our Throne and Servant Quarters.
Before we were limited to 1250 Tiles in our whole Realm, we can now use 3000 Tiles...
I think with this, we've got Value out of the Patch.
We just need to adapt ^^(i needed nearly 30 Hours before i befriended myself with the new System)
How do you enable 6 floors?
I haven't found that in the server options
I seem to be a miss on this, I can't seem to build over cliffs, and where I've build right now, I can't even build a balcony over the stairs that's going down the cliff side. because that one spare is not part of my territory. Which bothers me since I have to mess around trying to build a whole giant balcony round the back just to have it come to the front. A bit disappointing you can't build over that spot to connect the balcony.
Server option for number of floors allowed was added in yesterdays patch. You will need to start over to change it,.
