Yeah this is a zero-RNG quest. They cost a tiny amount of copper coins from the shady dealers, which you can access IMMEDIATELY in the game - you do not need human form.

Even if you're right and you can buy from the shady dealer without human form, the game never tells you about the shady dealer or communicates that you don't need human form for the shady dealer. For the majority of players, the gem will be found through RNG.

So that takes us back to the actual subject of my post: There shouldn't be RNG based quests. However, feel free to keep talking about the example and not the subject of the post.

You can absolutely trade with shady dealers without human form. And complaining about a 20% chance for a crappy amethyst when you're going to end up with hundreds eventually is a dumb complaint. The main "quest" is not required to progress.

@The 7th son ... If your at the rng part of the lord of the manor and having came across the shady merchant doing your explore ... then you sir do not deserve to be making mocking about an RNG ... actually i came across the stuff while i did other things

tell me how many v blood boss have you killed , how much of the base have you built ... have you scour the place to explore have you manage to farm up copper and other material for your base ... you should be able to get all that material on your way to PLAY the game

Honestly im fighting against your point because you seem to be pigeon hole to one point of the game that not even a problem at all. Hell if your on a multiplayer , ask peeps if they got material for it

You wrote three paragraphs when you could have looked at my profile and seen I have 60 hours in the game. I've killed all the bosses. I wanted to talk about RNG quests, not gemstone. I gave an example of the gemstones. Ya'll are the ones pigeon holing not me. Regardless, I'm done. Don't respond, let this die please. I wont respond to you.
