Solo player experience

Im considering buying this game but im worried about how is solo experience on pvp servers (which i would like to do) when everybody says this game is all fun coop game

Yes It can be fun solo but it suffers from the same problem games like Conan exiles and Ark suffer from. A huge map that's designed for multiplayer. You can tweak server settings much like Conan and Ark. As such you won't need to farm as much and you can make it as hard/easy as you want.
You can solo but it's always more fun with friends

Pvp is fun if you’re into that. Expect to die and get ganked a lot though, especially solo. Some jerks like to roam in packs to pick people off but ime they are not a majority. A lot of people loosely work together to take out bosses if they happen to be together to fight them, and others will happily destroy you while you’re distracted.

You could solo, but just keep in mind that you're going to be at a disadvantage vs groups that are larger.

So do i, but i would wait at least until the end of the weekend before really asking much, people are still testing things out. Before the patch, i did saw a couple of topics on steam regarding solo playing the game, and if i remember correctly, they have stated that it's completly possible to play the game by your own. But like i said, it was before Gloomrot, and they did change a lot, A LOT, and so they add aswell. I am a ARPG/HnS/Lootershooter player mostly, i do play other games aswell, so for me, the biggest question is about the progression in the game itself after this patch, but i will create another post in the future with more specific questions regarding those things.

You don't have to worry about groups or other people if you want to play solo. You can just create your own private sessions with nobody else in your world and as mentioned above you can tweak the settings of your sessions to make it as hard or easy as you like.

He can even invite friends for coop or pvp reasons. He can be the dark overlord he always wanted to be in hes own world.

My question was about multiplayer pvp experience as solo player not private session. Im looking for exactly same thing what Corvus Anathema described as ARPG player. Seems like it's pass for now

if your solo join a duo server and try 1v2 its not that hard if abuse range and LOS
