But at this Time its not possible to connect them anymore, like it was possible in the past, they are 2 completely seperate Towers and there needs to be a bit of nature/trees/rocks between them, so no connecting :-/
I Scouted the first 1-2 Hours till i found a Suitable Spot for me
(all the "good" ones where edited :-( )
Found one in the middle of the Farmlands right above the Iron Mine, a bit dangerous early Game but Managable.
Nearly 250 Groundfloor Tiles, which means a complete Second Floor is possible + 100 Tiles for the Third Floor.
It looks like: High Level Areas = Wider Building Space after i had a look at Gloomrot and a few Areas now
it was required. Not just for balancing pvp (the go to argument for people against it) but even in online pve, it caused a ton of brief and nobody was able to do anything against it since you can't raid/destroy anything on a pve server.
The pure singleplayer people are a minority, the game is largely online, whether this is pve or pvp it doesn't matter, it created issues for both.
Surely they could've found a way to still allow us to build through, for those that enjoyed it, while still keeping the new system for those who prefer it. Couldn't they just force it on and for those who wanted the old system back, simply toggle it off when making their own server? I understand it's to deal with griefers, and I understand it's for people who prefer PVP and what have you, but I also understand that it's a bit of a slap to people who wanted to enjoy castle building side, because who doesn't want to build a big, dooming castle as a vampire? It feels more of a punishment for those people because a group of idiots thought it was a good idea to ruin it for everyone else.
Not just that, but with how some plots are relatively small, I feel like you end up building small towers than actual... Castles, in a sense.
At the very least they could've allowed us to connect the two castles with a bridge. it would still keep the territories, but least we'd be able to link up one castle to the next so long it's literally sitting next to you. Like what some plots have.
Probably removed a line somewhere and ended up quoting everything, lol.
I understand the necessity of the system for claiming land being changed for griefing reasons and whatnot, but it should really be an option to turn on or off for private servers when you just want to play with some friends. It sucks not being able to create a big castle anymore that actually looks good :/
That sounds pretty good, I'll definitely check around that area then. Thank you for the tip :)
What about those other areas in Gloomrot and the Cursed Forest? I noticed a few big spots, but I feel that's going to be a real dredge to walk to. They seem large though.
