sure, like you say maybe just balancing out the pvp scaling would already be enough and then all this zonelocking isn't necessary as there's not that much of a gap, but I highly doubt they'll do anything about your nor my suggestion. They seem to be keen on just pumping out content and then that's it. done and dusted..
The map did get changes but I also would love random generated map system, but I don't think it is possible.
Won't change. It's what the game is designed to be.
"It's a survival game" Remind me, apart from blood and the sun, what exactly makes this survival?
I'm not saying that it should be easy, far from it. I'm saying that a guy in a Reinforced bone set vs a guy in copper which is only lvl 27, a mere 10 levels above, should still have a chance against him. In the current state, PVP isn't about who is better, it is about who is better geared and that is my problem.
That IS possible though. I killed a gear level 35 while at GL 19 myself yesterday (yes, he was kinda bad, but so am I). The game gives you a LOT of tools to outplay people. First, I'm pretty sure the actual damage differences between weapon tiers is normalized in PvP, but not stats like extra max HP. Second, you have feints, invisibility, dodges, dashes, and parries. These are all tools that enable you to defeat opponents who may have flat advantages (like a bunch of extra crit chance or HP or whatever, though that isn't available at lvl 27 like in your example).
