Achievements are the least of my worries.
I wonder if they will be just as big, and be a year apart as well.
Thanks for the headsup! Bummer to hear there is no roadmap shown, but I guess it makes the content drops that much more exciting for the people already digging their teeth into the vein! I MEAN GAME!
Connatic:
I agree, but I also think that Valheim's combat is kind of doodoo to begin with. Their strongsuit is pretty much just in the building and exploring as they still got a lot of other things to improve. Some of which that has already been told that it will not be changed, meaning mods are pretty much a must depending on gameplay style.
And genuinely, I do not give a hoot about what you worry about or if the devs would even include them to begin with lmao All I just wanted to know is if they ever posted a roadmap on what we can expect in the gameplay department from start Early Access to 1.0 release.
I just added the little tag about the achievements at the end as for me personally it is what is keeping me from truly deciding if I play now or when they implement it. If it will never be in the planning I will re-install it now and just play, otherwise I'd rather wait as everything I do feels like a waste of time to me.
In the end I just want the game to be in the best state for their current playerbase and that it does well on it's full release, regardless of what would effect me liking or disliking the game.

You can continue reading in the link... This is part of the roadmap for Gloomrot Free expansion that is already running in our current builds of the Early access game.
The developers for V Rising have a massive wishlist for what they aim to accomplish with their next major content patch. While all of these items and fixes might not make it into the first update to release, these are all things you can potentially look forward to seeing in V Rising in 2023:

* New enemies
* Marketplace added
* New Jewel system
* Craft Jewels to unlock new perks for your spells
* New spell school
* Changes to spell schools
* New electric technology
* New region
* Inventory management improvements
Fixes:
* The ability to see your clock in your coffin
* Not being able to see through enemy walls with the fade-out system
* Allowing time to pass on private servers without servers running
Quality of Life:
* Being able to sit in chairs
* Turning your lights on and off
* Naming your castle
* Placing signs
* Interaction with servants
Secret doors and passageways
We're still waiting for more information about future updates and expansions, but so far, so great, the game. I already spent 170 hours playing in-and-out in a PVE public server. Feels like an MMO when you have a lot of vampires running around and hunting.
Also, Stunlock said that the next big launch will be the 1.0, that means, the full release of the game, transitioning out of Early Access. "A similar one-year timeframe of development, like Gloomrot", it will take, according to their post on Steam.
More can be readed on their posts in Steam discussions.
