Report a translation problem
The one i have set up, it's in the equipment section and it says something about equipment does more damage to materials like trees and rocks. Which is great QoL timesaving for private games and small groups.
Also there was a setting that was removed in the last patch. One that said "Correct Weapons Deal more damage to the correct type" which sounded like a great idea since me and my friends felt that the default difference was negligible, but when I tested it it didn't seem to change anything.
From what I remember from when I ran a server pre Gloomrot the setting only effects newly respawned resources.
For example: Launch New Server -> change setting -> Restart Existing Server: all existing resource nodes are at 1x. If you destroy one and it respawns it will provide resources at the higher rate.
If instead: Change Setting -> Launch New Server: All resource nodes will be at the modified rate.
Fresh server. I did the 5.0 equipment yield rate from the start. Same with the pre-gloomrot patch test.
