sounds fair enough, as said already it's early access and devs stated multiple time that reset may be unavoidable in case of major updates.
There are still 2 ‘upgrades’ planned but we currently don’t know what those entail. But keep in mind that before 1.0 R you could lose your castle again.
But let's do an exercise here. So one of the things they said ages ago was being added to the farmlands area here is a quartz quarry because that's the area it's relevant to and where you're gonna start NEEDING quartz. So. What would be fair to whoever has their castle where the quarry is? Only they have to start over, signing on to find all their hard work destroyed by a new area? Randomly teleported to a new place, likely less than ideal because they likely picked that place for a reason?
It's like ya'll don't want anything to be improved/expanded upon in the game.
1: The map is being revamped including old areas which may effect the area your base is.
2: They've had to fundamentally adjust the game to implement multi-floor castles as the game was made to work on a 2D plane with 0 elevation (the ramped areas etc were visual tricks) So they had to rebuild the game to have a multiple levels.
