ark when creating major updates to the island didnt reset servers. I remember people losing bases in updated zones but not a whole server reset. But that was also not what I asked. I was asking if it is confirmed

its confirmed! you loose yer progress IF you want play the new update ^^°

its a EA game... its a big map update to pre exisiting areas.. to prevent any problems it has to fully reset.
