Host a dedicated server online

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to host a dedicated server online for several years so I can play with my friends and I like the idea of ​​being able to do it for the first time with V-Rising.

For this I have followed the guide of the game step by step, however I find a problem: when launching the server I'm the only one that con join with my friends not being able to do so.
I have searched on the internet and even asked an IA and the closest thing to finding a reason is that my ISP provides me with a dynamic IP and to host a server a static IP is necessary.
I guess it has something to do with port forwarding which I'm not able to do because my ISP blocks that option for me and I have to call them in order to ask for ports to be open.
The option I found searching on the internet is to use a DNS service so I can "simulate" a static IP so I guess I should call my ISP and ask them to open ports to a host name like "smachin.example.org" in order to be able to have an online server but I'm not sure.

I would like to know any opinion and if I am on the right track to solve the problem.

The answer is NGROK use a tunnel - ngrok is the fastest way to put anything on the internet

Hi there! I tried using ngrok but when I type in "ngrok.exe tcp 9876" the program closes :/

that is not correct way to start a tunnel i suggest you read the support documentation
https://ngrok.com/docs/getting-started/

should be

ngrok local ip address tcp 9876
then add your public ip and port in game for anyone to join

thats coz you didnt include your local ip when starting ngrok
