Question for upcoming Gloomrot update
I am wondering how Gloomrot update would be implement to the existing server. In a case that I play solo on my own world, would my game world be automatically updated with the new contents, or if it is needed to re create the new world.

You need a new game, since the update change a lot of things, even in the old sections of the map and the game progression. Also, the new building system is most likely incompatible with older castles.
Is this confirmed by the devs? This is also what I assumed but it would be nice to have official confirmation.

"This means that regardless of PvE or PvP, Official V Rising servers will have to wipe and reset to apply the new patch. Servers that did not wipe before will continue to only do so for major patches, but it needs to happen at least once to update the new map and all the changes that come with it. This will be the case for your private servers as well if you want to play on the latest version of the game."

Cant be more confirmed that this from the devs

I have also a question. I bought the game earlier and wanted to play with a controller but the game had no official support and using a controller felt realy bad. Did official controller support was implemented recently or maybe it will be in dlc ?

New content will usually be a forced wipe. Which is very typical for survival games
