Lag when playing Solo.

The game seems to horribly rubberband if you are the only one online for a server. This issue doesnt happen if anyone else is online. Its virtually unplayable, especially if on horseback.

Try capping your FPS~ Everytime I hear this, I propose this, and the thread dies, so I assume it's working ?

That makes no difference. And it doesn't appear to be an issue when other players are online.

You're getting the issue on a dedicated server you're not hosting when you're alone, but the issue goes away when there's other players on the same server ?

I've got this issue too and I can't seem to find a fix. I tried capping my FPS and it didn't work.

I myself can not play solo at all cause of the lag that happens and the FPS was the first thing i checked..

I thought I was the only one, I experienced a bit of lag once in a while and it was really weird since I play in a private server alone. FPS is also capped

I am playing solo on as a host (from the menu options it seemed to me like that is the most solo/offline way to play possible, correct me if there is a way to play completely locally) and I seem to lag and desync a fair bit considering I am the host lol. No idea how that even works.

i had the same issue and hadnt bothered to fix it.
a guy that replied in my thread said it was due to a weak pc and having issues with running the servers and maintaining fps.

i got my other better PC back like a week ago. Could test to see if it works better now due to a stronger PC.
What specs yall got?

Seems like it, got both my PCs here. Tried old one, lag and connection issues popping up as if its internet but it seems to be the fps rather and the PC no coping to keep the server up.

old rig:
12gb ram 2gb vram i5 4600
21-30 fps
Lag and desync

not so old rig:
16gb ram
i7 8700k
1080ti

150fps
No desync no lag.

Interesting, maybe I will try lowering the settings a bit more and capping FPS. Could have sworn it looked like connection issues, but obviously that makes no sense.

Speaking of things making no sense, why the hell does this game not have the option to play offline?? Is it just me, or is that just insane?
