Growing a sapling help

I have an oak sapling. I have SIX large plots next to each other. It says it need a large grow plot. Despite this, it will not let me plant the seed. What am I missing?

I believe a sapling must be the ONLY thing in the plot. So if you planted something else in it already, it won't work.

If you definitely have an empty LARGE (not medium) plot and it still won't let you plant, then it's a bug and you should use the pinned link in the V Rising Steam forum to report it.
