You will still take poison damage so it's something of a DPS race but, as long as you keep the melee attacks constant as you circle her, she will go down first.
It may not always work but, it's one method you can try if you're really struggling with her.
There are tons of skills that mitigate this: Blood Rite (After triggering), Mace Q, Greatsword Q, Axes Q, Slashers E, Pistols E, Octavian's Ultimate, Wilfred's Ultimate, etc.
It's not. Use better blood and buffs from potions. You can even buy them in Farbane if you don't have the recipes.
Come on, Release the player stats. the REAL player stats.
People continue to struggle with the Overpowered, Unbalanced, omgwtf Bosses of V Rising that you have to be AI to beat. And when they come to the forums to let the Devs know just how overpowered, unbalanced the Bosses are, they are always met by the same small group of people, a tiny fraction of the player base, that always says: "...Oh Boss X? Yeah, that boss was soooo easy. I beat that Boss without really trying. By accident. In the Sun. with Frail blood. ..."
Release the REAL player stats, STUNLOCK.

"waagh waaagh bosses to hard plox nerfz them!!!"
meanwhile you have youtubers like Crimson Shilloutte that pwns this boss while 10 levels lower, with frail blood, getting hit 0 times:

i understand that not everyone is that good, hell, i struggled against Ungora so hard i had to fight 15 times before i beat her, and it was a really close win.
If bosses are to hard, adjust your server settings. make yourself stronger, or the V bloods weaker. You are given all the options you need, why not use them?
Or you could discover the difficulty settings.
He's generating brain dead troll posts with AI and adding a cringe emoji header to it.
Block and report.
Ward of the Damned is really useful in this fight. Also you can pop the eggs before the fight while not aggro-ing her. Think I also used Death Knight + summon mage spell gem on it.
Post patch, New game, we duo tried this boss and failed. (This is the only boss left before gloomroot.) I've watched numerous amounts of videos and guides pre-patch and post patch about it, trying to find what we did wrong, because the boss I remember was cake. I'll tell you this, the boss is somewhat bugged and not acting same for everyone. (Yes we also cleared the room before we started to not get even more spawns from destroyed eggs)
On any video I've ever watched, (almost certain that the equipment level is same) the boss spawns a reasonable amount of adds. In our tries, the boss spawns more than 10-15 adds in same time.
It wasn't really doable. There isn't enough damage output to take care of that many adds, before the next pack spawns, or focus the boss, while you are literally surrounded for next 10 meters around you. We tried with different combination of spells, used everything we had in our arsenal. We had the best of the best items pre-gloomroot area.
Some people on discord told that Ward of the damned might be triggering the additional adds since boss spawns more considering the amount of players (?). In any case, we tried with other shields. In the end we were totally swarmed every time. (When every add spit the web, usually there is only like 5 yard of space in room to move freely, besides that its usually covered in web.)
That boss is bugged for some of us beyond recognition. Most likely the boss is miscalculating amount of players in arena and summoning 5 player worth mobs for 2. We kinda got demoralized, gave up there, and left the game.
I've made a report on their bug tracker website. To be fair, I really didn't check it out. But apparently they deleted my thread without any response or feedback. It's like the devs are playing prank on some players.
And if 10-15 spawn all at once and not in portions, then Heart Strike will clear ALL of them in 1 cast.
+1
Came here hoping to see someone would have seen this situation as well since the Gloomrot update.
None of the Youtube videos for this boss kill are valid any longer. & this is exactly what you would expect. You think the Devs haven't SEEN the "top videos" available on youtube describing how to kill one of their barrier-level bosses (silk)
Of course they have.
That's what having people pay to playtest your game is all about. Why would they not be using this as information for their changes?
I'm not being salty here, I'm being realistic. This is an "as intended" change based on the best the devs think we have to offer.
Not all of us are gonna be up to the challenge presented by tweaking an already difficult fight.
I hope they see that & alter the battle to bring it back within range of solo play.
Gold chests often have it. Regular containters rarely have it, and 1 out of 3-4 Knights drops it.
At the very worst, your current server is not.
I've cleared her on at least 7 different servers post-Gloomrot, have seen many adds maybe once, but that did not stop me.
I'm gonna have to stand corrected.
Armed with this info, & the additional "Bro, stop with the casual Leeroy Jenkins mode & destroy the eggsacks first."
(yes I'm that old, I was around during the heydey...)
My additional issue is that I play "Second chance" (Far Cry Primal style) Permadeath. I can't die five times to a mob just to figure out a pattern. I lose interest in the "life" of the Tron, & de-rez them if I get into death loops of that nature.
Anyhow, thank ya for the "yeah, thanks no.." without being too caustic about it.
It inspired me rather than turned me into a salty cracker.
Killed her pretty nicely with a Reaper in hand, & with Corrupted skull, Ward of the damned, & Chaos barrage up.
Thank ya again thread contributors.
