Spell life leech question

Does that mean ANY spell gives back life? Is it just the blood spells? Does it even give back life or just leech the health away of the boss?

if you have spell life leech, any spell you use that deals damage to an enemy will heal you for the % of life leech you have, up to the max possible healing from taking damage (you can only regain around 25% of health from damage you have taken while in a fight.
