Is anyone having a problem with pristine hide or just me?

Every time I go to craft pristine leather it makes empty canteens instead. However even when I remove the materials required for the canteen it still makes them anyway even though I have the required materials for the pristine leather in the input section. It still makes the canteens and this is currently keeping me at mid 60s and i'm not able to progress as id like. Also the tanner will make regular leather with no problem.

Ps: If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Also Is there anyway to maybe farm pristine leather other than crafting it?

sorry. just you. sound like you need to do a integrity check on your game folder.

That's odd. I'm putting pristine hide + fish oil into the tanner and getting pristine leather just fine. Is your input area otherwise clear or do you keep a bunch of crap in it?

From wearwolves in the cursed forest. I don't remember but maybe the wolves too.

Someone on my server was having this happen too, have you tried deleting your tanning station and building another?

you have to have pristine hide for pristine leather so go to top right of map once or twice and youll have surplus

This happens because the server settings is set to reduce crafting materials.
Since Leather Canteens is an item that you can make both in your personal inventory, and at a crafting station, the station always assumes it has the resources for it, and will continually craft leather canteens, since lowest cost item, takes priority in crafting stations.

Ive heard that you can click on what you want to craft, to change priority.
Another fix is to change the server settings, in the files.

Iirc, pristine leather has a very rare chance to spawn in stage 3 containers (silverlight / cursed?), so ... yes, it's technically possible to farm it. I wouldn't suggest it, though.

I have never put pristine leather + fibers and got canteens... make sure you have right comps in input. You can also farm the docks in silverlight Hills and get everything you will need, i have got pristine leather there a lot of times. Those docks are where i have been going since 60s.
