Ah a clickbait for points eh? |
Hypocrite.
Let's go back to your original post: which items are hard to get?
Grave Dust? Just grind bones. Gem Dust? Grind crude gems. Leather is obtained faster than you can use it, similarly to most plants you need in early game.
That is of course, if you play this game as intended (survival base builder with great combat) and not in a weird way and straight up ignore resources lying around (like the dude that reviewed negative because he for some dumb reason expected some rich story, old school RPG style).
Besides I'll repeat myself: you already somehow obtained materials to craft your best gear - you can easily do it again, since to my knowledge, no resource in this game is infinite (I suspect there might be limits to shards or w/e but that's literally end-game stuff and is not used to craft gear).
1)Who would even bother going after a boss during the day time when you can die in seconds just by staying in a sunny area.
2)Why would you go butt naked after anything ?! bone, copper&blood rose aren't exactly scarce or found only in heavily contested areas(iron or silver yep that is a different story but by then your familiarity with the game's mechanics should be quite high)
3)After getting hit for a crap ton of damage by a boss like Grayson that has a 1-3 seconds telegraph on all hes moves why would insist on staying still and continue getting hit ?!
As for the average gamer having a hard time with this game i would severely doubt it, I for instance am coming purely from a RTS/RPG background(sole exception to this being SoR4) so no platformers/racing/shooters in my gameplay history so my reflexes are average at best and despite that my biggest challenge was getting accustomed to the camera controls in my first 1-3h of play but the blood&spells&gear progression systems were easy concepts for me to grasp and likewise the combat system wasn't that hard to master either and most bosses took no more then 2 attempts(Tristan,Gorecrusher,Solarus being the exception(took heavy potion&quality blood usage to finally get them) but none of these are mandatory progression road blocks)
Regarding repairs for me by the time smth was about to break i would either be upgrading it to its merciless version or go up to another tier...then again i tended to farm regular mobs heavily and never went after a boss until i was same level or higher then it on my first run at least i was being very cautious(as i would suspect most noobs would as well).
Heck, he might be at Dean Takahashi tier when it comes to skills.
