At this point the resources shouldnt be an issue due to how many missions your servants would have completed.
You want a challenge? Kill the armorsmith during the day with nothing better than copper gear and no ring.
Even at night it's a massive slog, and forces you to go farm corpse dust that is not even a constant drop when it should drop 1 or 2 from every priest and mage, and like 5 from a V undead.
yea
I did, but you did not present any. I had to find one myself, I even went out of my way to make it harder: 0 GS, starting skills only. Still no challenge at all.
P.S. HD version will be available in an 1-2 hours once YouTube is done processing.
bro... the first10 boss are rushed upon before even making a base what copper are you even talking about, there is no copper you just skip to iron by killing the Reaper dude in mines fast if you are lucky and then you make a base
You failed, I clearly stated during the day, not sure if you have an issue with english?
Also a question, do you think the majority of players want to play the game in that way?
How many first time players are going to be doing that? What's the percentage of players who will ever replay the game? Are you dudes trying to sabotage the game because of your hubris?
Starting it at daybreak would make the fight easier instead, because he starts summoning Poachers only when he loses about 1/3 HP.
However, it would still not take no more than 1 day/night cycle either way.
They won't because this boss can actually 2-3 shot you if you are naked when his attacks land, and the majority of players are terrible at the game when they first meet him. The point I made is well illustrated by Sun Tzu in the Art of War:
"What the ancients called a clever fighter is one who not only wins, but excels in winning with ease."
In sun tzu's time you could not repeat the same fight over and over, you lost once and that was it, RIP. How many times have you died in the game so far?
If most players cannot do it, for whatever reasons, the main one because they don't want to put the effort and time to "git gud", then it means they won't like the game if it's made that way. People who want more challenge should have difficulty options. If you insist on making the game harder for everyone across the board, most players won't like it and the game will simply flop.
By arguing that the game should be more challenging instead of more fun, you're essentially condemning the game to fail if the devs listen to you.
