I'll try those, thanks. Of the ones you mentioned I only have crimson aegis and blood rage but that should be enough to start on the path of unga bunga.
Btw, it works even on non-hostile targets, like cowering townspeople (yes, it's brutal, I know). So bambi in the forest, frightened townspeople, they're all means to heal yourself.
You do, but as has been discussed and mostly agreed on by people around here and the subreddit. The recipes to craft paper/scrolls/schematics are ridiculously overpriced for what they give you.
It's literally quicker to farm enemies randomly, than to cut down half the map's trees for enough sawdust to convert to paper. Not to mention, the refining time for these materials is long by default so it'd take days of just waiting around. The higher tier research items are even worse for this as they need gem dust.
Very possibly. I have yet to get a paper press built so mostly speaking theoretically.
Aaand this is where yr problem lies; paper press itself is a randomly unlocked tech and once built the amount of raw resources needed to generate even one schematic is bordering absurd amounts to the point where you are about 3x-5x faster just farming the silverlight camps&patrols for the needed schematics rather then gathering up the raw materials to build the schematics...
