Blood Quality % Setting, Please
I'm kinda sick of seeing 1% humans all over the place. I think we need a server setting that influences what kind of quality we're going to see.

If I could I would set 50% to be the minimum and just have the random range from there to 100. Cheap or cheaty as it may sound, Anything over 50% has been way too rare, Highest I've ever seen was 86% and the average thing i feed on is about 25-30, if I don't get to starving/desperate..

Honestly.. I just went out looking for new servant and of all the humans in this outpost I visit, all single digit %s..

Once you are in Silverhills it is a piece of cake to find high quality blood

As the commenter above said, it is by design. With higher location grades come better blood. In Farbane finding a 50+% is luck, in Dunley it is common, Silverhills/Marshes/beyond - even easier.

Part of the fun to that is making use of the cages, you can use glass bottles to drain blood from captured humans, can use rats/fish n stuff to keep them healthy lol i have a nice shelf with 90%-100% blood saved up, pop a bottle on the go its great. Tho i guess if that doesnt sound like a fun function to you, yea crank it up.

The most fun thing in it, is that the best blood in game is 100% scholar, to get it early in the game, you need to constanctly monitor the Mosswick Chapel (or even Monastery if you're higher level and don't mind garlic), and slaughter the poor nuns who don't even try to run away or call for help, just cower in begging for mercy, which we don't give. We're the evil things.

I mean I appreciate the explanation, But that's not what I'm looking for. I want a server setting, Like Ark had for dino levels and such. Something that could turn even the noob zone into silverhills.

There are similar settings to tune your gameplay physical/spell damage multiplier.. Boss health, Sun damage..

It's missing anything to do with mob levels and blood quality.

I have to agree with his request, there should be a setting, my base may be north east of silverlight, but I still spend 12-14 hrs a day murdering everything in town trying to find 90-100% npc's some days I might find 3 level 100 blood quality npc's then there is the accidental death of said npc's because of all the surrounding aggro other days I don't find a sigle one for days on end. the rng when it comes to blood quality is really bad.

I don't see a reason not to have a setting, when everything else has a setting.

I wouldn't really call it fun to have to fish when it sucks, or go spend your time breaking a bunch of objects on the chance you get the fish you need to both deal with misery and deal with hp loss. It's the kind of thing I wish you could trade for or something

I agree with others here. There are settings for private servers that literally tons of settings for custom games that make the game better, there is no reason not to have a blood setting of some sort.

On the above poster, fishing SUCKS right now, buff it up somehow. Make it to where you can fish a spot 5 attempts or something. I shouldn't have to fight to a spot, cut down 3 trees or smash 5 rocks to get to a spot and then all I get is a copper ingot.

To further expand on the blood thing, make a chef station or fish fillet table tied to a boss that allows us to make food dishes to feed our prisoners. This game has so much potential to be great its not even funny.

Yeah, I really feel that is something Ark did very well.. Just about everything is customizeable. "Your server, Your rules" The more settings you expose the greater the crowd your able to please.

I'm sure you would appreciate settings like 'Fish per node' and 'fish node respawn rate' But i havent done any fishing yet :D

yeah the fishing is super lame atm, I literally have better luck getting fish from breaking crates and stuff on the highlands dock area. now i just send my servants out on 8 hour rotations to fishing villages to rake in the fish.

you might want to double check that, i find that a 99% or 100% both have a chance of going from 15-26% according to the ui, I have my server set to 30 coffins per castle heart, it's a private dedicated via g portal, but no matter how many attempts i try to make a 26% the best I have gotten is 25%, I am starting to think full 26% is like very very rare like a DnD d100 dice roll or worse trying to roll that exact 100. real pain in the rear. get a low expertise I usually just find a new 99/100 to replace them. granted even that is slow and rare as hell even in the extremely high area highlands.

that is really weird maybe i need to restart my server then because 99/100 both show me 15-26% on convert rates.

I read there is a cheeky way to raise their expertise by killing them at your graveyard. I'm just frustrated with how rare a good meal is while I'm out and about, or starting out in a new area. Quality blood is soo rare.

I haven't imprisoned anybody yet, but i kinda would think that charming them would reset their horror or w/e.

due to where I built and where I hunt, granted it tooks a lot of hours and days in real life, the first thing I did was capture 1 of each level 100 for prison blood bag harvesting. Then anything I find now is taken back to my coffins, due to server settings ( 30 coffins ) I have them split up into sections of 6 coffins 6 for each of the 5 types. i am still hunting for brutes, warriors and scholars, I do however have 6 of each worker and rogues. anything i catch or find of those now go into a second base I placed behind my original now that is strictly built as a npc prison system. I store any extras there for my clan / server mates that decide they want to snag a high level for themselves as a servant.
